- The college is administered by Hon. Founder Principal Dr. Krantikumar Patil(Executive President, Tararani Vidyapeeth) with the support of Kamala College Development Committee, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Faculty, Administrative staff, statutory Committees,58 Committees and Student's council. Founder Principal Hon. Dr. Krantikumar Patil is carrying forward the heritage of Kakaji’s ( Late Dr. V. T. Patil ) vision in real sense. He is making herculean efforts for providing access to higher education and empowering the girl students. He firmly believes in making three M's i.e. Man, Mangat and Mendu strong enough to face the challenges of life.

Hon. Dr.Krantikumar Patil sir completed M.A.(Sociology) from Pune University and Ph.D in 1984 on "A Sociological Study at Panchayati Raj Leadership in Sangli District" from Shivaji University. He is presently Executive President of Tararani Vidyapeeth, Kolhapur since 2018. He has a teaching experience of 46 years. He has rich administrative experience as the Founder Principal of Kamala College, Kolhapur Since 1984, Joint Secretary & Trustee of Tararani Vidyapeeth (1979- 84) and Secretary and Trustee of Tararani Vidyapeeth, Kolhapur,( 1984.- 2016). He held significant positions in Academic(1989-1991,1995-2000.2010-2015) and Other Bodies of Shivaji University, Kolhapur such as Member of Executive Council, B.O.S Chairman (Sociology) Member- Academic Council,(1982-1984& as the representative of College Principal's (1995-2005). Member - District Adult Education Committee, member-Advisory committee for Adult and Continuing Education Member- Examination Lapses, Establishment, Affiliation and Teacher’s Grievances Committee, Member - Committee appointed by the V.C. to Revise fee Structure, Secretary - Shivaji University Principal’s Association since its establishment till 2008. He has held the position of Secretary General - Akhil Maharashtra Federation of Principal’s Association of Non.Govt.Colleges: He is elected as representative of College Teachers at Shivaji University Senate 1982-1984 and amp; as the representative of College Principals 1995-2010. He worked as a Member of Committee appointed by State Govt. for Vocational Education sponsored by U.G.C., Member of State Selection Committee appointed by the Government of Maharashtra for National / State / Savitribai Phule Teachers Awards. As a member of NAAC PEER Team, he visited to KGF College, Urgam Post, Kolar, Karnataka State (2006-07), Government Arts & Commerce College, Tumkur, Dist.Tumkur (Karnataka) 2003. Presently he is Associated with Education and amp; Other Bodies as member of Management Council, Shivaji University, Kolhapur.Secretary and Trustee of Tararani Vidyapeeth, Kolhapur. He is member of State Level "Shaleya Poshan Aahar Samiti" formed by Government of Maharashtra (since 2007), Chairman of Grievance Committee, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, member of Governing Council on KIT’s College of Engineering, Kolhapur (nominated by Vice Chancellor), member of Administrative Council on Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli nominated by Vice Chancellor. He is presiding over Shivaji University Principal's Association since April, 2008. He is contributing as a member of District Scrutiny Committee to open new Secondary and Primary Schools. He is member of Shivaji University " Admission Process Controlling for BBA,BCA, BCS(2010-2011). He is member of Management Council of Mouni Vidyapeeth, Gargoti(1995-2000). He worked as President Shivaji University He is chairman of Monitoring Committee of Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business, Research and Education (SIBER). He enriched his academic career with participation in seminars and conferences at national level and publication of research articles related with social issues. He worked as an editor in 1980 of "Ha Gandh Chandanacha" a volume on life-mission of Hon. Dr. V. T. Patil. He also edited the souvenir entitled 'Tararani Vidyapeethachi teen tapachi ( 36 years ) Gauravshali Vatchal'.Heis member of Government of Maharashtra Committee for Autonomous Colleges(2022-2023).
- Under the visionary and dynamic administration of Prin. Dr. Krantikumar Patil, Tararani Vidyapeeth and Kamala College have made remarkable progress within a short period of time and the institution is awarded with 'Samajseva Purskar' by Rotary Club, Kolhapur
- The contribution in the field of women education is recognized and honoured with prestigious awards of “Kolhapur Bhushan Puraskar (2006)
